Derek Thomas joined his fellow Cornish MPs to celebrate St Piran’s Day by enjoying a Taste of Cornwall.
The very best Cornish producers, including gin distillers, brewers and dairy producers as well as renowned pasty-making bakery, Warrens from St Just, provided the food and drink for a mouth-watering buffet for MPs and their staff in an event organised by St Austell and Newquay MP Steve Double.
“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate St Piran’s Day than to enjoy our excellent Cornish produce,” said Mr Thomas.
“It’s great to support this event which gives us as Cornish MPs a chance to spread the word that the county’s food and drink just can’t be beaten in terms of taste and quality.”
